The group was created for students so they can share ideas and learn tips together about advocacy.

Think College Policy Advocates: Helping Students Find Their Voice

What are Think College Policy Advocates? College students with intellectual disability have an opportunity each year to attend a disability policy conference and learn how to advocate for themselves and others with disabilities. Hear from some of the 2021 participants about their experiences.

Save the Date! Special Guest Judy Heumann will be joining the next Emerging Advocates Meeting

Don't miss this very special meeting on Thursday, September 23, featuring special guest, Judy Heumann. Judy is an internationally recognized leader in the disability community and a lifelong civil rights advocate for people with disabilities. Majolyn, a student from Hostos Community College, suggested that we invite Judy to a meeting and she accepted!
