In this session we will discuss some of the challenges faced by college students with intellectual disabilities, their coaches and faculty and how a comprehensive training series developed with educational coaches and staff has been utilized to facilitate a smooth transition to college.
The webinar has the following learning objectives:
· Given a review of the Think College Grab and Go series on educational coaching, participants will be prepared to customize their own educational coach training with both Think College and other resources
· As a result of participation in this webinar, participants will be prepared to facilitate the Think College Student - Coach agreement
Who should attend: California Community Colleges’ Administrators, Chief Student Services Officers, Vice Presidents of Student Services, Deans for Student Services, Faculty, DSPS Coordinators and Directors, and Student Success & Equity Directors, as well as interested community partners.
