The Grow Your Future program offers an opportunity for adult students with an intellectual disability to become certified in a Career Technical Education (CTE) program. Admitted students will receive a scholarship for tuition and fees. Students must possess adequate daily living skills, be independent on campus, and work effectively with others. Students will begin in a pre-requisite course, and after showing Satisfactory Academic Progress, will transition inclusively into a CTE program, with an option of daily support groups. Accommodations will be provided based on needs. However, students are held to the same academic standard for certification requirements. With the guidance of college staff, students will gain increased levels of independence, self-determination, reading, math, technical, life-readiness, and employability skills.
