Transition and Career Studies is a four-year, residential inclusive transition and postsecondary program located on the beautiful gated campus of Georgian Court University. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1908, Georgian Court holds as its foundational values the Core Values of the Sisters of Mercy: respect, integrity, justice, compassion, and mercy. TCS admitted its first cohort in 2021. Our students live in our residence halls, and they live and learn side-by-side with their typically-developing peers. A four-person professional staff and a robust program of peer mentors support our students in their academic, vocational, and campus life endeavors. TCS is more than just an educational program...It's a family!

| Summer program description: | Our ten-day residential program provides pre-employment transition services (Pre-ETS) to young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabiltiies. Students must be agds 16-21 and currently enrolled in NJ high schools. Students live in our residence halls, eat in our cafeterias, and experience an intensive program of self-reflection and vocational exploration. We also have a ton of fun! |
