The LCCC SEED is a premier academic achievement, social/independent living, and career excellence community college program designed to empower students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In a unique and powerful partnership with the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living (LVCIL), we offer a specialized support system that bridges the gap between high school and a life of authentic independence.
At SEED, we believe in the power of choice. Our students pursue their individualized goals through three distinct academic pathways: credit-bearing certificates, associate degree-seeking tracks, or specialized workforce credentials. Unlike traditional support models, SEED is built on a holistic framework. We integrate students into the full campus life, providing dedicated coaches who facilitate the development of both technical expertise and essential skills for academic and career readiness.
The mission is to cultivate self advocacy and autonomy; equipping them to build THEIR future.
