The Toledo Transition program offers two options: a 2-year and a 4-year non-degree certificate program. The 2-year Certificate of Completion (60 semester hours) is designed for students who want to obtain basic transition skills in preparation for employment or further studies. The 4-year Certificate of Completion (120 semester hours) is for students seeking additional knowledge and skills to obtain community employment. Both curricula focus on four essential transition areas: Academics, Employment, Independent Living, and Self-Determination & Student Development. The main difference between the two programs is the depth of knowledge and the range of skills they offer, allowing students to choose the program that best suits their needs and goals.
