The Think College Inclusive Higher Education Network, in partnership with the State of the Art Conference, will host a pre-conference capacity building institute (CBI) on Tuesday October 24th to support the development and expansion of regional alliances on inclusive postsecondary education. Those who are actively working with Think College on the creation and strengthening of a regional alliance or those interested in creating a future regional alliance are invited to join us!
Susanna Miller-Raines, Program Manager for the Think College Network, will lead the CBI along with Think College staff, Chelsea Stinnett and Shelby Bates. Representatives from the Southeast Postsecondary Education Alliance (SEPSEA) and the Midwest Post-secondary Education Alliance (MIPSA) will be on site to provide technical assistance. The CBI will give teams time to hear from experienced regional alliance leaders and then roll up their sleeves to work with their regional alliance planning teams. Content will include updates about the future Think College national network organization and facilitated group planning time. In order to attend this event, your planning team should already be working with Think College on regional alliance development. If you are not working with Think College, are interested in starting a regional alliance, and would like to be included in the event, please email susanna.millerraines@umb.edu. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
