K-12 Educators can, and should, Think College! In this video, hear from a variety of high school educators, transition specialists, paraprofessionals, school administrators, and others on how they successfully prioritize college for their graduating high school students with intellectual disability. You'll meet a young woman named Nicole who successfully attends college and hear from her high school team as well as current college faculty on how they've supported Nicole through her higher education journey.
College guarantees a brighter future for students with intellectual disability by preparing students to be more independent and more likely to get, and keep, a job. Educators and college faculty know this is true and share their experiences with Nicole.
There are multiple versions of this video available, including a shortened and re-formatted version perfect for social media use, and both versions available in Spanish. You can download them in our campaign Google drive.
