The Credential Pathways Stories Series

The Credential Pathways Stories series is designed to shine a spotlight on the transformative role that higher education can play in the lives of students with intellectual disability. 


There are 11 stories about students from 9 states around the country. You may read and download each story individually, or download them as one combined file. Each story includes 

  • some background information about the student and the college program they attended, 
  • the requirements they met to earn their credential, and 
  • the employment they obtained after earning that credential.
