Our next Emerging Advocates Student Group meeting is
February 16 from 7-8pm ET
Our guest speaker will be Mahad Dahir.
Who is Mahad Dahir? He is the new president of the student body at Highline College. Mahad was elected vice president by telling students that he would be a voice for all students with disabilities, and when the elected vice president couldn't do their job, Mahad stepped in to be president. Come listen to him on Feb. 16!

What is the Emerging Advocates Student Group?
The Emerging Advocates Student Group is a discussion group for people with intellectual disability who are in college or just finished college, or who might be thinking about college. The group was created for students with disabilities to talk with others so they could continue to share ideas and learn tips together about advocacy.
