We are pleased to announce that Caitlyn Bukaty (she/her) and Chelsea Stinnett (she/her) joined the Think College team. Each one brings extensive experience in inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE), as well as passion for seeing this field grow. A little more about Caitlyn and Chelsea:

Caitlyn Bukaty (she/her) is joining the NCC’s evaluation team as research associate III. Caitlyn has been with us part time for a few months, and we are thrilled to have her on board full time. Most recently Caitlyn was serving as project director for an OSEP Stepping Up technology project at University of Central Florida. After earning her Ph.D. at UCF Caitlyn gained technical assistance and evaluation experience at Cornell University working with the New York State transition TA center and at the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities. Caitlyn lives in Orlando, FL with her very good boy Bukets and new rescue on the block Aria. In her free time Caitlyn enjoys helping Wish Trip families visiting Central Florida with Give Kids the World Village.

Caitlyn had this to say about joining the Think College team: “I’m honored to have to opportunity to expand my work with Think College. Postsecondary education for students with intellectual disability is something I’m passionate about and I am excited to join the National Coordinating Center in supporting programs making this a reality for students across the United States.  I am looking forward to meeting and getting better acquainted with the rest of the Think College team and the community we serve.”

Chelsea Stinnett (she/her) joining the Think College Network team as technical assistant coordinator II. Chelsea is the soon-to-be former Executive Director of CarolinaLIFE at the University of South Carolina. She completed her PhD at University of South Carolina and maintains several research lines within the field of IPSE, including personal and agency development and intimacy education with inclusive college settings. She lives in Columbia, SC with her husband (Brook) and two children (Tucker, 4 and Mackenzie, 1), but is under contract to move to Dayton, Ohio this winter to be back near family. She is a true Enneagram 1, if you buy into that sort of thing. She enjoys reading, writing, remodeling, walking, and has recently purchased a Cricut, meaning no blank surface is safe from personalization.

Chelsea had this to say: "I'm so excited to join the Think College team and be part of the evolution of programs across the country. Creating more opportunities for students with intellectual disability is a win-win for everyone and contributing to this work is truly a professional dream come true!"
