We are thrilled to welcome two new members to the Think College team - who just happen to share the same name! Caroline Billeaudeau and Caroline Jurisich have both joined our team in the last month, and we are so excited about all they will bring to our work.
Caroline Billeaudeau is joining the Think College Network team as the Technical Assistance Associate. Caroline recently served as the Community and Career Coordinator for the LIFE Program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. At UL LIFE, Caroline enjoyed assisting students in achieving their internship goals, teaching classes including career readiness and sexual health, and helping the Lafayette community become a more inclusive place. She is also a licensed speech therapist and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Applied Language and Speech Sciences to continue her passion for helping students with intellectual disability communicate and work as independently as possible. Caroline spends most of her free time with her friends and family or planning her wedding, which is quickly approaching! Caroline had this to say: “I could not be more excited to work with Think College. I have always looked up to Think College as a resource for program development and student engagement, so to have the opportunity to help IPSE programs continue to grow and learn is truly an honor!”
Caroline Jurisich, who is originally from Louisiana, lives in Lafayette with her two children, Max (8) and Charlie (5). She spent nine years as the Director of UL LIFE at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a postsecondary education program for students with intellectual disability. Passionate about inclusive higher education. In 2023, Caroline transitioned into a role with Association of University Centers focusing on higher education policy and legislation and continues that work. She sits on various boards at the state level that are education focused, and she is excited to support and help expand access to inclusive postsecondary opportunities and collaboration efforts across the country. Caroline loves Mardi Gras, LSU Tigers, and the vibrant community of south Louisiana. Caroline is so happy to be at Think College and continue her work in the IPSE field!
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to these two wonderful Carolines!
