MIHEC Learning Community: Engaging Students, Families, and Educators in the Inclusive Postsecondary Education Preparation Process

The Minnesota Inclusive Higher Education Consortium (MIHEC) will be hosting the Learning Community Event to engage students, families, and educators in the Inclusive Postsecondary Education Preparation Process.Through a combination of presentation and group discussion, this interactive event will review important steps and resources for students, families, and educators as the student prepares to transition to college.Helping students with intellectual and developmental disability prepare for inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) is best addressed with a team approach. Strategically equipping not only students but also their team of support, including family members and educators, with IPSE preparation resources increases the likelihood of a successful transition to college.
